You already did
the right things.
You cleaned up the plate. You protect the bedtime, log the walks, and take the supplements on schedule. The labs came back normal. You still wake at 2am with nothing to point to, still feel weighed down by mid-afternoon, still notice the bloating after a meal that should have been fine.
That is not a compliance gap. Your sensors are accurate. They register a load your lab panel was never built to record.

A framework for noticing, not diagnosing
The load has a name,
and the evidence has limits.
Researchers measure cumulative physiological stress as allostatic load. Weathering research (Geronimus et al., 2006) associates sustained exposure to chronic stressors with higher allostatic load, and the Superwoman Schema framework (Woods-GiscombΓ©, 2010) describes the coping style that travels with it: strength shown on schedule, emotion held in, everyone else's needs placed first.
The Success Tax names the five forms this load takes in a high-achieving woman's week: excellence pressure, code-switching, representation burden, vigilance fatigue, and invisible labor. Naming them matters because each one sits in a different place. Some live in your habits, so you adjust them. Others live in your workplace and the systems around it, and no amount of adjusting reaches them.

What happens
in the hour.
A thoughtful sequence from recognition to a more useful next conversation with your care team.
01Complete the Success Tax Self-Screen, live.
You answer it during the session in about four minutes. It saves nothing and sends nothing, so your answers stay with you.
Explore this step
The Self-Screen is completed in the room during the live hour. You keep your answers; nothing is saved or sent.
02Read your own results.
I walk you through how the screen sorts your sources of strain into what you adjust, what you adjust in part, and what sits built into your work or system.
Explore this step
The purpose is to distinguish the parts you can change from the parts shaped by your work or the systems around it.
03Learn five low-risk stabilization practices.
Each comes with its evidence strength and its limit, so you know what it supports and what it does not.
Explore this step
These are educational supports, not treatment protocols or biomarker corrections. Each practice is discussed with its evidence strength and limits.
04Build notes for your next appointment.
You leave with one specific question for your care team, written from your own results.
Explore this step
Bring your own results into a conversation with your care team, with one focused question written in your own words.
05Bring your questions.
The last stretch of the hour is live Q&A, and the room stays small enough to take them.
Explore this step
The final portion of the hour is reserved for live questions and answers.
Your Self-Screen answers stay with you. It saves nothing and sends nothing.

Strategist
Your host
Danielle Izaak-Lewis, MS
Danielle Izaak-Lewis, MS, is a Clinical Nutrition Strategist and the founder of Noyan Worldwide. She holds an MS in Applied Clinical Nutrition and a certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition, and she works with a trauma-informed lens. Raised in Montserrat, she lived in England and the Caribbean before relocating to the United States in 2010. For eight years she has helped high-achieving Black, Indigenous, Women of color read what their sleep, digestion, energy, and cardiometabolic signals report when standard labs look normal. She keynoted the Top 100 Most Powerful Black Women Summit in March 2026 and has presented for the Winston-Salem Black Chamber of Commerce and the University of the Virgin Islands.
β'When the Body Talks, We Call It Behavior' was a very informative and thought-provoking presentation. Danielle helped us look more closely at how food and specific ingredients can influence mood, attention, stress, and behavior in ways we may not always recognize, particularly with the amount of processed foods and snacks that have become part of our everyday diets. The presentation was eye-opening and offered a different perspective on the connection between nutrition and our overall well-being. I would certainly welcome the opportunity to have Danielle return to VIUCEDD to expand the conversation around nutrition and its impact on other aspects of the human condition that we may not always be conscious of.β

Clarity matters
Questions.
If something is unclear, it deserves a clear answer.
01Do I complete the assessment before the session?
No. You complete the free Self-Screen live, during the session. The Constraint Mapping Assessment comes after, in an email to every registrant.
02Will you see my Self-Screen answers?
No. The Self-Screen saves nothing and sends nothing. If you want to share in the room, name a category only, never a health detail.
03What if I miss the live session?
You still receive the assessment and the report. The session has no replay.
04How long do I have to complete the assessment?
You have 30 days after the session, through January 5, 2027.
05Is this medical advice?
No. This is an educational session. It does not diagnose or treat, and it does not replace care from your own clinician.
